Why Is HGV Class 2 Training Important?

Nowadays HGV class 2 training is most popular for new commercial vehicle drivers.  HGV Class 2 provides a Category C licence.  It allows you to drive any vehicle covered by Category C. Category C licences allow drivers to carry vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and below 7.5 tonnes . Under this C-category licence you can drive fire engines, bin collection vehicles, most haulage trucks, and large removal trucks. Once you get the licence you will go for a medical examination every five years. Driver CPC training of 35 hours to maintain your DQC licence.

Why is HGV Class 1 Training Important?

HGV stands for heavy good vehicles. HGV class  1 C+E licence allows the driver to drive the largest vehicles in the logistics industry. The driver can carry a minimum weight of 7.5 tonnes. He carries a maximum of up to 44 tonnes with trailers and detached cabs.  or more with trailers and detached cabs up to 44 tonnes. Class 1 drivers are also able to go for long-haul trips. HGV class 1 training is for those who are above 18 years of age. Along with this, you should have a Category B car licence. HGV class 1 training provides 16 to 20 hours of training lessons.
