Why Is HGV Class 2 Training Important?


Nowadays HGV class 2 training is most popular for new commercial vehicle drivers.  HGV Class 2 provides a Category C licence.  It allows you to drive any vehicle covered by Category C. Category C licences allow drivers to carry vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and below 7.5 tonnes. Under this C-category licence you can drive fire engines, bin collection vehicles, most haulage trucks, and large removal trucks. Once you get the licence you will go for a medical examination every five years. Driver CPC training of 35 hours to maintain your DQC licence.
